This Is It

Nomura could feel his last moments creeping up on him. The light around him was slowly raising up into the sky, the memories of Sora, his own creation, flowing from his own body, as what he had hoped to be a successful venture as his own character, ended. He closed his eyes, tears welling up inside of them as he regretted not telling the person he truly cared about how he felt. Sure, Nomura was only existing in the body of a failed clone of the character he based off of his fantastic life of traveling through the galaxy, he had truly felt that he could have lived a peaceful life as a Mary Sue.

"Maa maa..." He muttered under his breath. Yeah, this life he lived wasn't bad at all. If only he could continue living it.

Now though...The one he loved would forget him and he would fade away into the memories of Sora, having to yet again live his life as a Gackt-obsessed game developer who has an affinity for belts, zippers, and spiky hair. He didn't know if he was ready for that, though...He wasn't ready to return to fans bothering him about Final Fantasy Versus XIII everyday, people asking him if he was dating Gackt, or if he would ever think about making a Kairi game.

Roxas. All he wanted was for Roxas not to forget what they had together. He knew that even though he was able to make Roxas remember him for those few moments, he would forget again. It was how he told the writing staff to make it.

But now...he was gone.

He didn't even get a kiss...That should have went into the script, too...

"--ura-sensei. Nomura-sensei! Wake up!"

Nomura sat up at his desk, littered with drawings of his one and only love wearing different things. Suits, casual clothes, swimwear, loin cloth, dresses, belts and zippers...anything to be worn. If it existed, Nomura drew Roxas in it and if it didn't, he still drew Roxas in it.

"Nomura-sensei, we need that proposal script for Kingdom Hearts 3!"

"Forget Kingdom Hearts 3, we need to make another game about Xion! She has to come back and try and make Roxas remember her, as well as get a kiss from him while they eat ice cream on the tower!"

"Sir, I don't think that will make it past the pres--"

"IT HAS TO."

Nomura was determined to return to Roxas' side, no matter the cost.
